AIBU to tell you all to slow down and take care when driving?

The weather is awful spray, standing water, mud on roads etc

I personally have been caught up in 3 serious crashes in the last 30 hours.

Overturned lorry and squashed car m40 , ok I was only seriously delayed yesterday.today bad smash on local roads-2 cars and the barrier, nasty. Again diverted when needed to return using the same route (dual carriage).

Third just-a14. Single cat, suspect last control hit bank and spun to 90 blocking both carriage ways. Here I was fairly early on scene and found my highvis jacket and meagre emergency kit to help., fortunately (how ! ) driver and dog at aside of road and ok ish.

Now on m6. Idiots speeding past......

Argh! !

And if you don't have a high viz jacket Get a cheap one-a got ours for going to France. really
couldn't see anyone walking on the carriage way unless they had one.

I think some people think that road traffic collisions only happen to other people and that they are 'good' drivers so are therefore immune from them. Sadly, as a friend of a friend found out the other day, a monentary lapse of concentration kills.
