To be scared of opening the energy (dual power) bill

I know its going to say what our new direct debit is. Last time it went up from £90 to £130 a month Its sitting on the shelf staring at me menacingly

I really really don't want to open it I just know it will have shot up again. We've insulated, turn heating on as little as we possibly can,all wear jumpers and blankets buts still it keeps shooting up :(

My one went from £33 to £75 a month.

Do it. Open it.

Pick up the envelope. Take a deep breath and open it.

Avoidance won't help.

Open it. The stress of not knowing is worse.

I had my own thread about this yesterday! Got my gas bill and apparently I am a high gas user... My direct debit has gone up to £93 because I am now in debit. Not much I can do to get that figure down.

On the up side, I seem to use very little electricity. I don't have a dryer so that might be part of it.
