to think someone saw the Mary Berry/Anthony WT pasta bake thingy last night

My DF, not at all well , saw MB and AWT on TV last night making a pasta bake for Mary's 92 year old mother. He doesn't know the name of the programme or the channel or the time it was on, but has asked if I'd make him the pasta bake. but i can't find a link.

He's not been eating properly recently due to illness and this is the first interest he's shown in food for ages. So I'd like to make it for him .

AIBU to think one of you MNers out there saw it and will share the details with me?

Is he sure it was Mary Berry's mother? This article says she died last year at the age of 105 and as MB is 77 her mother could be 92 but it's pushing it a bit.

Of course, if it was someone else's mother that doesn't help you much. sorry.

I can't help and google isn't helping... Does he remember any of the ingredients?

COuld you check the TV listings to ascertain what program it may have been?

(Am assuming they still do TV listings, haven't had a TV for years)

radiotimes.com will give you listings but there doesn't seem anything on there that this could be.

I think Food Network have been showing repeats of Christmas Cooks during the day. Could it be that?

I'm guessing DF saw it maybe between 5pm and 9pm last night. He said there was long pasta in it and cheese. No idea about the channel.

DF doesn't see too well, so generally hasn't got a clue what channel he's watching. Is there anyone else who might have a 92 year old mother?!

It might not be the dish he meant but the pork and spinach lasagne someone linked to is a firm fave in this house abd everyone who I cook it for asks for the recipe then reports back that it is one of their staple dishes and that they cook it for guests who all ask for the recipe!

Mary Berry has been on repeats of some shows on the food network and I'd guess the programmes are around 15 years old,so it could well have been for her own mother at the time. She did a christmas pasta thing with AWT, and I'd guess that is what he saw. The programmes are being repeated all the time you could maybe record them and fast forward through to see, alot of hard work though.
