Who says they're not to be worn at night? I wear mine to bed.

IneedAgoldenNickname · 18/11/2012 22:19

When are they meant to be worn then? Confused

bedmonster · 18/11/2012 22:21

I thought they were meant to be worn until the age of about 2 Confused

MaryPoppinsBag · 18/11/2012 22:23

I think they'd be uncomfortable to wear in bed.

I reckon they'd ride up and erm split the difference!

Not tried it - don't want too.

I thought they were for wearing at night? I'd be more inclined to wonder why anyone in their right mind would wear one during the day, and worse, in public..

Woozley · 18/11/2012 23:46

Mine is definitely PJs! Or "loungewear" at the outside, not to be worn outside except under my dressing gown when I go down the garden to feed the chooks

yorks05 · 19/11/2012 12:22

This is a child's one. It clearly said on label. "Do not sleep in it"

I guess if it's one of those fleecy, thick ones, complete with hood and ears and a little tail at the back Grin they think they would pass out with the heat. My ds gets boiling hot starkers - so no, I wouldn't advise he slept in it.

InkleWinkle · 19/11/2012 12:34

Does it have a hood? Bit dangerous for a small one to be sleeping in then.
TBH I always thought they were dressing gown type things anyway.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 19/11/2012 12:38

I lurve my onesie but no way could I wear it on bed, I would boil to death!!

I put mine in early evening when I am ready to settle down....no way would I ever been seen wearing it though apart from by DH and DS, I resemble a rather large sack of potatoes in it.

Mine has a hood.....and a tail Blush

WildWorld2004 · 19/11/2012 13:22

My dd & i wear ours like dressing gowns. I buy my dressing gowns in the nightwear department so dont see what the problem is.
