YANBU, and not a prude. But there's not much you can do with people who think it's fine for 4yos to use those words. :(

YANBU - I think it's vile. Always have. Children do pick up words so it can happen and it be no reflection on the parents really but your neighbour thinking it's funny reflects on her really quite badly.
