They look grubby and underfed.

They fill a niche in the market, are making themselves better off and someone else eg management rich. One of them had an issue with alcohol after a bad relationship but if they are lucky they'll end up with a nice house and rich banker/music biz exec partner so good luck to them. There will always be manufactured acts, Take That,Bros,JLS spring to mind.

Their new song is rubbish but some of their stuff, like 'The Promise' was very good. And Nadine, though vvvvvv skinny is a very good singer and her solo stuff was shockingly under rated compared to Cheryl.

Ah man.... They were never set up as being the next Streisand (or equivalent). And Nadine may have body issues but she's a cracking pair of lungs and maybe, just maybe, she needs the band to help her through. Point is, who knows?

I like GA. Their music is shite pop - fun! They ain't claiming to be saviours of the sisterhood. But I think some people need to acknowledge that's their dislike is actually based on snootiness or envy. Seriously, would you not have given your eye-teeth to be them in your twenties (if you didn't know how the press manipulated you till too late)? Hanging out with your mates, singing and wearing the best frocks? What's not to love?!

Now, I work in a similar industry and know that the reality is they work 360 days a year, leaving home at 5am and returning to a far flung hotel at 2am and getting paid £300 per week for the first 3 years but really, that doesn't make them worthy of 'they are botox'd to buggery' vitriol. So freaking what if they are? You can still, as mothers and women, teach your daughters and sons that their way might be a way but it isn't the only way...

Pop has always been about beauty and the 'them and us'. And long may it continue.

No snootiness or envy here. I loved the Spice Girls (still do!) and I am pretty damned envious of Victoria Beckham. But Girls Aloud? To be honest, the only one I know of is Cheryl Cole, and she sets my teeth on edge. All that "Oi reelly reelly lov yer" stuff on the X-Factor - aaarrrgghh!!! She has to be one of the most irritating women on the planet.

I haven't seen them perform since they reunited, but in general YABU. They have cheeky, catchy songs and are hot as fuck.

I like them. They're all stunning and their songs are inoffensive and catchy.

And I think it's fair to say they have far more singing talent than any of the Spice Girls. They were just a concept.

But at the same time, while i work with with teenagers, no one wants to be like them, which is telling in my job.

My Son and his peers are teenagers in the 17/18 year old bracket, and even they are tired of the glamorous overhyped pictures celebs
A family relative works in the industry. That person is tired and stressed and has no time to chill out.
