Woman smoking outside my two sons school

She was surrounded by children and didnt seem to care.
Im not sure if reporting it to the school would help as she was not standing on school grounds. (and she did look too scary to approach!)

YABU to be so surprised as if it's the first time you've seen this happen, but YANBU to be bothered by smoking next to the school gates. It happens all the time at my DDs' school even though the school has put posters up asking parents to move away from where the kids are to light up. The school obviously can't enforce anything because it is off school grounds but they do ask parents to be more considerate just like they ask parents to switch off their engines when dropping off/picking up to save the fumes.

I was brought up in a family of smokers who smoked inside the house and had ashtrays EVERYWHERE. My husband smokes. I don't smoke and I don't have breathing problems. Or any other health problems that I know of. I may be poor and dumb but I maybe bloody lucky! At least up until now anyway..
