To think that too much power goes to the dull?

OR is it that the dull ending having too much power because they never go out or socialise and end up with £20K in the bank at age 24 because of sheer bloody minded boringness??

I am not sure that the ones with real power are the ones you might think by watching TV - didn't the current government have to make a new law to stop risk averse civil servants from blocking their policies?

or perhaps once one has been dull for years, there is a little brief window just as your salary is increased to make sure your final salary reward is particularly high, you suddenly think 'shit I'm dull!' and only then start rich person socialising??
