As in, if someone has a personal issue with someone who happens to be a police officer.
This isnt a thread about a thread, although a comment made in a thread made me think about it.
I have noticed that whenever someone has an issue with someone who is in the force, someone else will always say to inform their boss. Why? Is the boss going to be interested in child access issues or extra marital affairs? Surely the only thing that they care about is the officers ability to do their job, if the officer is actually breaking the law or actively bringing the force into disrepute.
It just seems very playground. "I'm telling on yoooooo"
