and not put any of it in the food? Wine

It's my day off ... I've just sat down for the first time all day after ticking off to-do list as long as my arm! whilst chasing a toddler around all day

It's going dark outside ... I'm not being THAT unreasonable am I? Grin

YANBU. In fact, have the other half.

grovel · 07/11/2012 15:52

Get on with drinking the other half.

Only half? Bit slow aren't you?

Jusfloatingby · 07/11/2012 16:10

In fairness, the bottle's already open. It will be rotten by tomorrow.

bedmonster · 07/11/2012 16:32

YWBU if you didn't 'use' the other half! Sadly I'm now taking the dc swimming as I would quite like some too.

Themobstersknife · 07/11/2012 16:35

Brilliant! I was preparing pork with cider in the slow cooker this morning. Used half a can of cider and nearly absent mindedly swigged the rest of it! At 11am! Nearly...

TheMobsters

When I worked nights on a Friday I was off till monday so I'd drop come home get ds up and drop him at nursery and usually come back and chuck something in the slow cooker before I went to bed.

I came home and was prepping the meat so poured myself a class of red too as I'd had a tough "day" and was enjoying morning tv whilst I pottered in the kitchen. Dh was being picked up by a colleague that morning and invited him in for a coffee and to go over some stuff before they set off.

So there's me Wine in hand, colleague Shock as dh introduced me, and added "I do apologise she's a terrible lush, tea. coffee?" Grin

Cheer up Raspberry. Make some nice chicken in white wine sauce (nudge, nudge, wink, wink.)

McChristmasPants2012 · 07/11/2012 17:00

I did wait till after bonfire night.

PastaDee · 07/11/2012 17:02

I'm ridiculously easily led. I'm going to open a bottle of Wine as soon as DD is in bed to go with the other half of a chocolate box I opened last night after a thread about raiding the Christmas tuck. Blush

I'm about to 'accidentally use' a very dry gin martini while making chicken and rice for supper. It's been a rough day!
