My dd was given one by her grandmother when she was 4. Unfortunately, she was too young for it and so was unable to appreciate it fully.

I've just had to buy 2. Have 6 year old twin girls and they both asked for them. Never considered them sharing one but as Caja says they interact with each other. Agree with treas also. Might not be worth the money for your 4 year old however very difficult to buy for your 7 year old only when they've both asked for one.

I have the same issue and have just bitten the bullet and bought 2 and that means I will not buy other bits and bobs that would have added up to the same price, probably.

something about the furbys didnt sit right with me with the spare money bought them some smaller bits too
