  1. DS refused to go to sleep until 3am
  2. I got woken by a call centre computer at 4.30am
  3. DD woke me for good at 6am
  4. I got up to go to the toilet and started my day by standing in bare feet in cat vomit and dirroeah which was sprayed across the landing (and I then had to clear up)
5 The porridge burnt
  1. dd announced she did not know where her swimming stuff was despite claiming to have got it ready last night and it finally turned up being worn by her toys Confused
6 As running late decided to call a taxi to take us on school run and it turned up 20 minutes after I'd booked it so dd was late for school for the first time ever (she's in year 2 and has been there since nursery). Stupid taxi driver had been sitting outside wrong house while I repeatably rung office to find out where he was

Then DP who is away on business this week (lucky git) had the audacity to the me I was over reacting when I cried on the phone.

Humph - feeling better now I've got that lot off my chest Gin

cozietoesie · 07/11/2012 11:24

I think gin would be a good idea when the sun is over the yardarm. (Leave it to you to decide when that might be!) What a morning.

Grin
FutureNannyOgg · 07/11/2012 11:27
Thanks

It can only get better.

Convict224 · 07/11/2012 11:28

Feel yer pain, op, I feel yer pain. I am having a shitty day too but at least I had a reasonable night's sleep. I'm not gloating about that.......well ok I am a bit. Sorry.

Gargula · 07/11/2012 11:28

Crikey that is a bad start to your day! You are well justified a teary rant.

A medicinal gin definitely required.

ontheedgeofwhatever · 07/11/2012 11:45

oh thank you I needed someone to be nice to me . Just tried to wash the porridge pan it will never be the same again and still can't get stink out of landing carpet :(

I think the sun may be over the yardarm fairly early today

imnotmymum · 07/11/2012 11:56

And agree chuck the pan life is way too short.

SlipperyNipple · 07/11/2012 11:56

I really suggest you have a sleep. There is no way you ca function well without some catching up.

ouryve · 07/11/2012 11:58

Offering a rare friendly Biscuit or 10.
I'd offer chocolate, but I've run out.

TenMinutesLate · 07/11/2012 12:06

That sounds shit! ( pun intended!)
I on the other hand had a meeting this morning so had my nav navy dress, and suede boots. Dropped spoon full of yoghurt all down dress....and then opened fridge door and some numpty (me) put the mayonnaise in the fridge door which of course fell out into tiled floor smashing to bits and mayo all up my boots.

I look like I'm covered in spunk.

Hope that puts a smile on your face!!!

hiddenhome · 07/11/2012 12:07

Cor, that sounds rough.

Grab a rest if you can. I'd be furious about the call centre thing.

TenMinutesLate · 07/11/2012 12:07

I'm now having a coffee and have scoffed 8 chocolate digestives.....so far.

ontheedgeofwhatever · 07/11/2012 12:11

Mwah!!!! Xxx
I say, baby in buggy and get yourself out....it's a boooooooutiful day; unless your still picking cat vom out from between your toes Grin

blackeyedsusan · 07/11/2012 12:21

oh dear.

not a good start to the day. spinkle bicarb on the sick to take away the smell.

serious if you are at 8 chocolate biscuits, tenminutes.

blackeyedsusan · 07/11/2012 12:23

you "d" h was not so "D" this morning. cat sick and poo is enough to make anyone cry! (was it still warm?)

BooyhooRemembering · 07/11/2012 12:26

white vinegar should lift the smell out of the carpet. pour it over the entire stain and let it soak in and dry. then once it's dry have a sniff. if still whiffy sprinkle bicarb (you could add some drops of essential oil into the bicarb and let it dry) over and leave overnight. hoover in the morning. repeat as much as you need to.

BertieBotts · 07/11/2012 12:31

Stick bio washing powder in the pan and a bit of water (enough to cover the burnt mark) and stick on hob to boil.

Sounds like an awful morning! I hate days like that.

WilsonFrickett · 07/11/2012 12:33

Bicarb is your friend. And gin.

lollilou · 07/11/2012 14:33

Aww that sounds horrid. If it's any consolation yesterday morning my cat dug out soil from an indoor plant and had a poo in it, luckily(?) it was a tiled floor. Then I went into the kitchen and noticed the Halloween pumpkin was still there on a shelf, went to pick it up and a tidal wave of putrid pumpkin goo split all over the floor and me! Boak.
