In thinking Dh should get his arse out of bed and deal with DD?

DD is 10 months old and has thankfully been a good sleeper in general. Unfortunately she is going through a stage of getting up for an hour at about 3 am then going back down until 7/8. I'm hoping it's just a growth spurt or something of that ilk.
Now this weekend DH has been away for a stag weekend leaving me with DD and Ds (8yrs) which I haven't minded (other than it costing money we really don't have), because of this he had booked off the weekend and his rota has given him Mon Tues & Weds of this week off as well. I on the other hand have work Mon, Tues, Weds. So AIBU in thinking he should be the one sat on the sofa at 3 in the morning playing with her, NOT me???

Of course he should be the one sitting on the sofa.

Because he's bloody useless. He's had 2nights of going to bed at 2am so thinks he should stay in bed.

Oh forgot that. A piss up does not warrant having the next three off days to recover. Would bug the living shit out of me - sounds like a really whiney excuse.

Well, if he's had two nights in a row of going to bed at 2am then he must be used to that by now: he can stay up until 3am and wait up with your DD for an hour and then go to bed. There you go, problem solved!

Tell him if he likes the wee small hours of the morning so much, he can spend them with your DD while you get some sleep...

And don't you dare make him tea in the morning. Let him sort himself out in the morning and telling him that tonight, it's his turn to look after her as he's not working tomorrow.

We have made up, after a day of me being pissy and tired. He has promised he will get with her tonight. We shall see how we get on.

Sometimes it's easy to take people for granted. Doesn't make it right, but an easy bad habit to slip into.
