A proper quiz show.

No malarkey, just William G. with his raised glarses.

yes, yes, yes!

many's the argument I had with my student flatmates back in the day when they wanted to watch Ready Steady Cook, but I had got the remote control first and put 15 to 1 on.

'Laura, the leaders board please!'

YANBU. Great show. No 10 minute pauses waiting for the answer. Bring it back I say.

LeeCoakley · 04/11/2012 22:21

NoNoNoNo! I, who love TV quizzes, absolutely, entirely, wholly, utterly HATE 15-to-1. So boring and no charisma sums up the show and WGS. Leave it mouldering in the basement where it belongs.

Did you shake his hand?

I used to work for William G. In His House

:)

treaclesoda · 04/11/2012 22:26

kim147 what are the answers to your questions? I would have been out in the first round if I'd got those too!

Would also be raging that the person next to me got the easy questions!

I got to the final 2

Confirm a charisma-free zone

treaclesoda · 04/11/2012 22:30

See I was thinking Opus too, but then I thought 'well, things still have an Opus number even once they have a name', so that can't be right...I must have been overthinking!

SwedishEdith did you question or nominate? Or more specifically, were you beaten by someone who hogged all the questions, or did he/she nominate you until you got some wrong?

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/11/2012 22:33

Ooh, I'd forgotten about the tactics.

Some evil gameplay there was, wasn;t there?

Gwen, can you spill?

kim147 Blush I hope I didn't come across wrong, I wasn't questioning your answer (if that makes sense!) I'm sure I was just overthinking. And anyway, if I'd been actually on the spot with the cameras rolling, I'm pretty sure my answers would have been 'er.....'

mummmsy · 04/11/2012 22:33

and his overuse of the word eponymous!

But it was for the glory!

Oh, and remember his thing about the Elgin marbles? I'm sure I'd never heard of the Elgin marbles until William G started using 15 to 1 to campaign for them to be returned.

Yy. I loved 15 to 1.

SwedishEdith · 04/11/2012 22:45

I was just extremely clever lucky. Grin I seemed to not get nominated at all which may have had something to do with being the only female in round 2?
