It entailed a street of fairly ordinary houses and the residents work together to transform the outsides.

Anyone?

Slainte · 03/11/2012 16:23

Is it this www.channel4.com/programmes/sarah-beenys-streets-ahead one?

DontmindifIdo · 03/11/2012 16:24

Sarah Beeny, called Streets Ahead.

every week, someone would decided to pay for their own windows to be fixed at the same time and then all their neighbours would bitch about the fact "them at number 21 had their windows done out of our budget" and being told that the people at number 21's windows hadn't come out of the budget wouldn't change their suspicions about number 21.

also every week, there'd be one rental property and the owner occupiers in the other houses could never get why the rental people wouldn't waste their weekends fixing up the street when they had no benefit from increasing the house prices, and only possibly risk increasing their rent. There'd be lots of "but they live here too" comments without thinking that it was the landlords they should be trying to get out to paint fences...

That was it,thanks everyone.
I'm a wee bit disappointed now that I'm not some sort of undiscovered TV programming genius.
