In the faint hope that they'll keep going to bed earlier for the rest of halfterm and thus it will not be complete hell when they go back to school on Monday 5th November?

Also this way I've got a faint hope of watching Downton without sarky teenage comments from the festering teenage sofa.

I would have loved to see my parents try sending me to bed when I was 13!
