Do it, it doesn't make much difference to mine!

DontmindifIdo · 28/10/2012 16:39

when do you want your hour, this evening or tomorrow morning?

mumeeee · 28/10/2012 16:40

Even if the clocks had not gone back it would only be 5.40 now. To me that's a bit early for bedtime.

Shutupanddrive · 28/10/2012 16:41

Oh I didn't think you meant now, just an hour earlier?

cozietoesie · 28/10/2012 16:41

Adjust their time by - say - half an hour to partially correct the time lag. Otherwise tomorrow will be a problem for them when they have to stay 'later' at school.

Shutupanddrive · 28/10/2012 16:42

Isn't it half term?

TomsBentPinky · 28/10/2012 16:42

They usually get in bed at 6:30 to 7 for sleep. but if i let tgem watch a DVD in bed then it will take it to that sort of time.

And i can get in the bath whilst they watch it.

It's what we'll be doing!! Half term here, so the DDs can have a film in bed if they like and settle down to sleep when they're ready.

Probably the last year I'll get away with it as dd1 can just about tell the time now Blush

TomsBentPinky · 28/10/2012 16:43

Yea half term for us.

gah. ill try to hold out a bit before baths... it does take a while as theres 4 of them.

It may be, Shutupanddrive - I'm in Scotland so in a slightly different zone on that front!

DH and DS1 are away and I totally did not tune in to the clock change until DS2 who had been out to work and come home to watch the footy came in and said 'err what time is it cos footy isn't on and it should be kicking off now' we both realised that clocks had gone back and we had been going about our daily business with an hour spare. just glad he twigged before I was getting up for work tomorrow! could have gone in an hour early Shock

yes just adjust by half an hour or so and bed as usual.

Shutupanddrive · 28/10/2012 16:47

It is here cozie but not everywhere at the same time I know, so just wondered if was the same for op Smile. Sorry if I sounded abrupt there

cozietoesie · 28/10/2012 17:04

No, no. Not a problem. It's good to be reminded of these things from time to time.

ChippingInLovesAutumn · 28/10/2012 17:06

I would - it's dark, it's cold and what's not to like about a lovely bath and a film in bed for all of you?

ChippingInLovesAutumn · 28/10/2012 17:07

OR if they'll all behave I'd do baths now, jammies on, family movie then bed - they might not be up so early tomorrow then?!
