The mere suggestion of it makes me go cold.

I'm laughing my flappy flaps off at cannonball cock

ArtVandelay · 25/10/2012 20:03

Well, my DH decided the same when I was around 6 months pregnant. It lasted about a week and then the huge boobs and plumptious bottom hypnotized him and he was mine again for the rest of the pregnancy (evil cackle)

bissydissy · 25/10/2012 20:04

Who are these women enjoying sex! Get back in the kitchen ladies.

LadyEvilBeagle · 25/10/2012 20:06

Akshully sex is discusting full stop.
Why would anybody want to do that dirty thing.
A cup of hot chocolate and a nice book with your slippers on is the way to go.

SoleSource · 25/10/2012 20:11

Zombiebunny · 25/10/2012 20:20

YABU. If you don't like it don't do it. But my sex drive shot ip in my first pregnancy so we had sex at least 5 times a week til I was 38 weeks.

But...that's how the baby got there? It can't be fine beforehand and disgusting afterwards? no way am I ever going 9 months without sex

RatherBeACyborg · 25/10/2012 20:27

Actually you can get pregnant when already pregnant, it's called superfetation. It happens very very early on though. I know someone who had twins this way.

RatherBeACyborg · 25/10/2012 20:29

Oh and DD2 arrived on her due date due to [whispers] S E X. I couldn't bear to be pregnant any longer.

Mind you, as that was how she got there in the first place, I thought it was nicely cyclical. [hgrin]

Tiredmumno1 · 25/10/2012 20:34

Just laughed so much my drink went all over me

HoneyDragon · 25/10/2012 20:34

What do you mean get in the kitchen?

It's much easier to get near a cock than it is a sink once your past 39 weeks. Play to your strengths.

FryOneGhoulishGhostlyManic · 25/10/2012 20:39

My coffee nearly coated the keyboard there..[hgrin]

PseudoBadger · 25/10/2012 20:40

I'm sure my 7 week old foetus (embryo?) is aghast.

Rowanhart · 25/10/2012 20:45

I have been randy as hell....and the sex has been amazing. 37 weeks now and still jumping hubby at every opportunity....

AmazingBouncingFerret · 25/10/2012 20:46

You are all sexual deviants

HoneyDragon · 25/10/2012 20:48

No bouncing for you then Ferret? Sad

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 25/10/2012 20:51

I think sex for any reason other than procreation is disgusting. We should all be sitting around thinking about the little baby cheesus and/or solving crimes. Not wasting time sexually pleasuring ourselves.

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 25/10/2012 20:54

As an aside, medical professionals don't recommend it as a way to get the baby out. Or if they do, they do it in the same way that a hv recommends rusk in a bottle. Based on opinion, not evidence.

Sex does not induce labour and no study has ever found a remote link between the two. Or it really would be a bad idea when pregnant.

doctordwt · 25/10/2012 20:56

Sex! I agree OP the very idea is shocking.

Even when not pregnant

Dawndonna · 25/10/2012 20:58

It's half term!
