New Look have a massive selection!

EagleRiderDirk · 21/10/2012 17:58

I love my onesies. But I'd never go out in them. Really helps as oh is a of runner and I'm freezing constantly, so we can actually share a bed and duvet without one of us over heating or freezing.

Pickles77 · 21/10/2012 18:08

The overall verdict is IANBU then Grin

theinets - a onesie worn in your own home when no one is looking (except your family etc) means your can save a fortune on heating.......

And as well as cutting the heating bill it's aso better for the environment (sorry for stating the obvious but you did wonder why........)

WorraLiberty · 21/10/2012 20:25

I can't remember how much the shipping was Thread. It wasn't much though because all in all I think I paid less than ?15 when I checked out.

I'm going to order another one soon so I'll let you know Thread...or if anyone else orders one perhaps they could Smile

ThreadWatcher · 21/10/2012 21:30

Ive worn my fetching poncho whilst in the company of friends and relatives!

If it looks scruffy so what I'm warm

Worra loves hers so much she's getting another -:o
tbh I think I'd prefer one without sewn in feet! The tesco one I got last year is much nicer than one I've seen in Dunelm mill, which was cheap feelce and had a butt flap........

SheilaWheeler · 21/10/2012 21:34

I was asking DH this yesterday. He didn't think I was serious but now ........

Pickles77 · 21/10/2012 21:36

I'm questioning the bumflap Hmm
I thought the ones with tails were going far enough...

panicnotanymore · 21/10/2012 21:39

I have 2!!! Bought them in Topshop last year, and wear them in the evening after a bath instead of PJs and a dressing gown. My H thinks I look adorable, I think I look like a tellie tubby, but hey ho, they are warm and comfy.

Havingkitties · 21/10/2012 21:44

Nice idea in theory. However I still have mental scars of sitting on the loo on a cold winter night looking like a naked Andy Pandy with the onesie round my ankles. Unless there's an areseflap I'm out!

Pickles77 · 21/10/2012 21:47

Apparently bum flap onesies are available, I am not typing it into google though as typing 'adult onesie' in eBay was rather interesting Hmm

Yes the weeing thing is what puts me off. DS2 (4) has one and he un-pops the bottom 2 poppers to have a wee - not so easy for girls ;o(

DS1's teacher (male) wore a primark superman onesie to school on a fancy dress day!!

Wheresmypopcorn · 22/10/2012 02:33

Ha ha, you may be mistaken for Rylan Clark

FolkGhoul · 22/10/2012 06:22

MrsMelons my husband has the primark superman onsie

MrsMelons · 22/10/2012 10:33

That is quite funny Folk, do you giggle when he wheres it or does he look muscly like Superman Grin

FolkGhoul · 22/10/2012 15:32

I'll let you work out the answer to that yourself MrsMelons:

It was a present from one of his friends. It's an extra large so it was big on him in the first place and now he's lost 2 and a half stone!

He looks ridiculous in it! Grin

But it makes him happy!!

Pickles77 · 23/10/2012 20:41

I look ridiculous in said onesie. I look like I'm about to do a parachute jump!!Blush

laanndaaannanny · 23/10/2012 20:46

I have one it's a giraffe. Grin Though going for a wee when your half asleep isn't easy. I learnt this the hard way when I accidentally had poor giraffes hood in the toilet and weed on him. Blush

Pickles77 · 23/10/2012 20:47

I shall take that advice on board Wink
