On quite a number of occasions recently I've seen adult (parent) driver with seatbelt on, next to teenager without. Rather perplexed as to how this works.

P: Put your seatbelt on, darling.
T: No thanks.
P: No seriously, could you please put it on.
T: I was thinking it might be rather inconvenient if Mum found out about Susie from HR....
Now step on it, I'm running a bit late for pony club.

If, as a teenager, I had bribed my parents. I think I would have tried to get more out of it than not wearing my seatbelt Confused

I remember back in the 70s there was one of those Play For Today thingies. A girl caught her Mum with some bloke and they had to keep giving her money to keep quiet which she spent on drugs when she went out at night.

It was called Boys And Girls Come Out To Play and it was completely fucking nuts.
