Bloody iPhone app. I can't find "Chat".......

My 15month old DS is having an op to cut his tongue tie today under GA. have become very anxious about it. Please reassure me that all will be well.

It'll be ok, they will be so careful with him .

Onceortwice · 16/10/2012 06:40

Hey, I'm up for a bit of hand holding.

I had my DD when DS was 14 months old and being parted from him for 2 nights was horrid... I can imagine that you feel nervous about the GA...

But he'll be fine and home before you know and it's for the best.

chimchar · 16/10/2012 06:47

it'll be ok.

its a relatively small operation..it will be done quickly, and your little boy will be back with you in good time.

because he is so little, he might be seen first on the list of operations and your time in hospital will be short.

let us know how he gets on.

sending you a little hug. x

Sending you a hug for DS x

Ps - On iPhone app, _Chat is the last one in the "Fun and Games" section. Took me a while as well. HTH Smile

Holding hand. It's hard putting on Brave Mummy face for him when you're churned up inside. The staff will be so good with your little one, stay strong x

Iteotwawki · 16/10/2012 09:09

Hand holding! He'll be fine though probably grumpy and hungry when he wakes up!

WelshMaenad · 16/10/2012 09:17

I hated the app, I deleted it and use safari.

He will be fine! I was worried when dd had a GA earlier this year but she was grand, and came to really fast after her op.

Come back and let us know how he gets on. X

Stangirl · 16/10/2012 14:08

He's just gone in. Horrible to hold him as he goes limp with the gas.

Here to chat if you need to take your mind off things. Otherwise, be here to hear how he is when he comes around. xx

WelshMaenad · 16/10/2012 14:27

It is scary watching them go under but he will be awake before you know it!

Stangirl · 16/10/2012 15:31

All well. On way home. Thanks for the support.
