Sky Atlantic are currently running a competition on twitter based on #mistakesgirlsmake.
The best one wins a trip to New York. (I dont follow them, a promo tweet ended up in my timeline this morning.)

1 mistakes GIRLS make? Sexism at 9am on a Sunday morning doesnt suit me.
2 Do they mean women, and if so why did they use the term Girls?

Have I just got out the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Yes you have hot out of bed on wrong side as they have a new show based in new York called girls stating soon and it's a promo!!

Ah.
I dont have Sky Atlantic.
I've seen that show. Its written by Lena Dunham, and its car crash tv and not very good car crash tv.
All the characters are awful, and the "acting" is v poor.

Mind you, I still take issue with a twitter hashtag for #mistakesgirlsmake.
There surely could have been a better way to promote it.

No you're not being unreasonable. There are already enough misogynistic hashtags on twitter, this company adding another isn't helping matters. I've not seen the ad you mentioned but it would piss me off too!
