AIBU?

To think this wasn't a "crap tea"

I had my dn today, sil has just picked her up and I told her what we had for tea. Her response was "oh she likes crap teas like that, not like our proper food"

I served (all homemade) cornflake chicken goujons, potato wedges, baby sweet corn, green beans and broccoli. Fruit and yoghurt for pudding.

I thought it was quite healthy.

We're having a crap tea tonight! Well the boys are - potato waffles with tinned sausages-and-beans! How about that? I don't think anyone can top that.

How bizarre. Sounds very healthy to me. Does she only serve DN steamed brown rice?

Glad you think she is off her rocker Grin

I am really not adverse to a crap tea myself but thought I would make an effort!

Wow, I am just happy if anyone gives my kids tea, whatever it is, saves me doing it, what a silly cow and surprised you didn't tell her so at the time.

Don't have dn again and say why...

If I have extra children round I always do a crap tea cos easiest way to suit all tastes. Yours was not a crap tea mind. Wish I could get mine to eat that many veg.

SIL is even more unpkeadent than a shit sandwich. Next time do not bother to expect me to feed him or send him with some of your stupendous cuisine.

SLAM (door)

Life is too short to put up with her nasty ramblings

Tell her next time that you offer her free childcare there'll be a fucking Pot Noodle waiting for her child.

And it'll be a shit one like Chow Mein, not even a good one like Spicy Curry or Chicken and Mushroom.

that's a lovely meal for a child (assuming she IS a child?)

Sounds pretty good to me! All home made and a good balance of meat/veg. What does she normally feed her?

Report
miaowmix · 11/10/2012 18:14

Thought so but just checking. That's a really nice supper for an 8 year old. How ungrateful!

And this comment came from someone who's child you had looked after and fed? Unbelievable.
