At the end of the day like kind of gravitates towards like.

Hence i have seen people with the same humour, same attitude to life etc. become rather pally and back each other up on here. Especially regular users.

I personally don't enter into much banter on here, butt in when I want and get out. Therefore I haven't really made any "cyber" friends here. It's the way I like it but others are far more friendly than me do.

I don't think labelling yourself is the way to go, actually. Just be who you are. 'Larkers' don't always lark, just as some of the people that I've mentally labelled 'po' have shown their lighter side too.

There are no orchestrated pile ons. Nobody messages anyone else - well, I'm speaking for myself here - to come and join a thread.

I think also it's fair to point out that whilst some may lark about on certain threads, we may also be pretty po-faced on other. Like Maryz I'm very po-faced on any drugs 'n teens threads.

I happen to 'know' lots of other MNetters because I've been here for 6 years now. I've met many of them at various meet ups. But if I needed to, I would also disagree with them on a post.
