There's a compnay on a wellknown webiste with lots of individual sellers on. Are you with me?

One company is offering and I quote, "Personalised Frienshp Bracelets".

JUst a bracelt with a charm attached.

This disc has an INITIAL on!

SIOB.

That ain't feckling personalising.

I think Watchdawg needs to be informed toot sweet.

Disgruntled, Brummish.

Your outrage obviously has the opposite effect to most people - I could only spot one mistake in your long title

Geordieminx · 30/09/2012 22:56

Divorce the bastard

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 30/09/2012 23:00

I'm disgusted, and will write to the lead singer of Echo and the Bunnymen straight away.

gallifrey · 01/10/2012 09:37

Dear Mr Echo...

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 01/10/2012 09:40

No no no no no no yes.

Trills · 01/10/2012 09:41

"Personalised Frienshp Bracelets"

I wouldn't want anything from them if that's how well they proofread their website.

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 01/10/2012 09:43

Maybe that's where they get the initials from?

aldiwhore · 01/10/2012 09:43

YANBU.

There's a few well known crafty websites where the 'crafted' items look like a two year old elephant did them one handed/hoofed/footed.

There should be a minimum standard. Perhaps. Maybe.

PickledFanjoCat · 01/10/2012 09:44

I have just vomited on my phone in disgust.

Shakey1500 · 01/10/2012 09:47

But presumably there's a photo of what you (general) are buying?

It's not what I would call personalised either though, having an initial.

I saw an advert for shirts that were "personalisable" Confused Is that even a word???

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 01/10/2012 09:50

Isn't there an eBay police? Can't they send in a SWAT team and restore decency? Or at the very least put 2 initials on them?

Sallyingforth · 01/10/2012 09:53

I've started a web petition to get that site shut down. Please sign up here.

missymoomoomee · 01/10/2012 09:59

I've signed and shared Sallying this HAS to stop, I won't let my children be brought up in a world where people are allowed to advertise personalised friendship bracelets that aren't fully personalised......oh the horror.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 01/10/2012 11:03

I am so glad you can all see the import of this.

What is society becoming?

this is a funny thread Grin

was it meant to be ?

TheBigJessie · 01/10/2012 11:10

I am upset by steam cleaners. I want a steam cleaner, but I don't feel I can trust any company that advertises them as "chemical-free cleaning".

Water is a chemical. A company that will go for totally false advertising, as opposed to the less dodgy, "no hazardous chemicals" is a company whose customer service I cannot trust.

Sallyingforth · 01/10/2012 11:48

Absolutely Jessie. You can read all about the dangers here:

I gave that link to some family members once. They nearly set up a petition, and sent letters to the daily mail, before I explained what dihydrogen monoxide was!

Sallyingforth · 01/10/2012 11:53

not the Daily Mail! NO!!
