at sleeping....been through a few stressfull few months DC1 4 had to put up with new baby sister, moving house, lots of changes. Baby 5 months, teething poorly with cold & they both sleep 12 hours a night. They are amazing I dont hear a peep out of them. I get them both ready for bed and they are both asleep by 7.30. Thats it really.

Well done < hope ds learns this soon he is 6 1/2 (years) >

That's excellent...you're extremely lucky.

I think there's nothing worse than sleep deprivation.

However, I'm not sure how 'amazing' your post will come across to the poor parents reading it who are probably dead on their feet Grin

honeytea · 30/09/2012 21:22

Right, I'm coming over so you can teach me how to do that!

Minshu · 30/09/2012 21:22

Shhh - you're not supposed to admit this for fear of a) getting lynched by jealous parents and b) jinxing things...

frootshoots · 30/09/2012 21:22

You're very lucky :) I'm sure some sleep deprived mums will shoot you down for bragging!

My DD has also always been a fantastic sleeper, I count my blessings every day.

ilikedrivinginmycar · 30/09/2012 21:25

ahhh spoke to soon DC1 just fell out of bed (which he has never ever done!) and woke up baby. Think the sleep deprived parents put a hex on me. They have both gone back to sleep though :-)

You've brought curse of MN upon yourself Grin

karinajack · 30/09/2012 21:27

How's it work then ? My ds is 4 and still falls to sleep in my bed then gets transferred to his bed but comes back in at some point in the night. Ds2 is going to pop out anyday and I really need them both to sleep in thier own beds

McHappyPants2012 · 30/09/2012 21:28

Sleep deprived here and no jealousy from me, it is great to here it is possible.

ilikedrivinginmycar · 30/09/2012 21:34

karina I dont know why they are like that? I was an awful sleeper when I was a baby didn't sleep till I was 3. I was dreading having #2 as I though I couldn't have another DC who was good a sleeping and I did! She is only little so she could change? I have always done the same thing every night its rare I vear off of the same old thing.

Think I'm stuck in this rut and can't break it. If I suggest he sleeps in his own bed he screams house down and it breaks my heart so I give in he does fall to sleep on his own. He claims he's scared in his own room and we've bought night lights galore but nothing changes.
