Especially the ones that are really gruesome.

I do wonder where the inspiration comes from to be able to discribe a murder or torture so well you can visualise it in your mind.

Are you thinking of anyone in particular?

Dominodonkey · 27/09/2012 19:29

I am not saying that this is true of all cases but when I was at uni we had a visit from a controversial playwright called sarah Kane. Her plays featured rape, crucifixion and worse. Someone asked her where she got her ideas from and she was quite offended and said everything in the play had happened in the world at some point and she was only writing about how people really behave.

ATM i am reading a book where humans pull there own teeth in exchange for wishes, these teeth are then used to make souls of dead people come to life in a new form.

It just amazes me where these people get these sick, twisted ideas from.
