To think you shouldn't transport two children in the back of a van?

Parent at DD's school brings two children on the school run - in the back of his work van - the sort of van with no windows? Like an escort van - I know there are no seats. As I've been parked behind him and seen him open the back doors (and then them get out)

The children are about 6 & 3 and should still be in car seats!!

AIBU to say some thing?

He is a fucking idiot. I wouldn't say anything but I would report him to the police.

yes non emergency police with number plate and time it happens and place etc.

Sirzy · 27/09/2012 18:11

I agree let the police know so they can do a "spot check" outside the school

YANBU

He should be able to fit in far more than 2....

Avalicious1980 · 27/09/2012 18:18

YANBU although my husband insists this was his standard mode of transport as a child in the 80s!

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/09/2012 18:41

Yes 101 number.

The preschool I went to, the chap used to pick up about 20 children in his volvo estate. Two on the front seat (no seatbelts on) about 6 in the middle seat and round about 10-14 in the boot. If he ran out of space we had to crouch in the foot wells. Health and safety anyone...
