To ask DP not to drag our duvet around with him everywhere?

It's unhygienic isn't it to drag around the duvet all day??
He gets up in a morning, drags the duvet into the kitchen whilst he makes coffee etc then drags it through to the living room, drags it into the bathroom and this morning as it was cold dragged it to the car!!! AIBU to think this is ridiculous and babyish??

Perhaps suggest tracker bottoms and a jumper instead Grin

Fairylea · 25/09/2012 20:35

Wtf! Is he 3 years old ?!

Get him a warm dressing gown.

squeakytoy · 25/09/2012 20:35

Buy him a dressing gown.. he sounds weird.

BadgersRetreat · 25/09/2012 20:36

you should turn the heating on

CajaDeLaMemoria · 25/09/2012 20:37

Taking it to the car is a bit weird...

I'll sit with mine if I'm cold, but I've got bad arthritis and really suffer in the cold. I don't think its unhygienic. It never goes outside and I change the duvet cover...

OnTheBottomWithAWoodenLeg · 25/09/2012 20:37

Get a very very girly flowery and princessy duvet cover (only if it would bother him though) and hide all the others.

I know a man who can't sleep on pink sheets... (yes, he is an eejit!)

RaisinDEtre · 25/09/2012 20:37

well what happens to you if you're not up ahead of him?

v odd behaviour

Pascha · 25/09/2012 20:38

He doesn't leave you in bed without does he? Get him a slanket.

RuleBritannia · 25/09/2012 20:39

The moment I read the OP's post, I remembered that scene in Dinner Ladies when Julie Walters hunched into the kitchen from outside wrapped in a thick blanket (or was it a duvet?). It was as hilarious as the scene from Only Fools and Horses when Del Boy fell through the bar he'd been leaning on.

Hasn't your DP any dressing gowns, OP?

DawnOfTheDee · 25/09/2012 20:39

We have a duvet that we keep in the living room and put over our knees when we're watching telly like a pair of old biddies. We call it the living room duvet. Grin

Never felt the need to have a kitchen duvet, etc as well.
