Eighty Pounds!? I'd look at the link, but it might Break My Brain! Are you sure it wasn't euros?!!!

Actually, eighty euroes would still be hugely expensive.

La redoute and vertbaudet do waterproof trousers.

TheBigJessie · 23/09/2012 18:46

Ooh, did you check ebay.de or ebay.co.uk?

WeAreSix · 23/09/2012 18:51

Look in Style & Beauty, there's a thread for Lands End. I'm sure I saw waterproof trousers there. If not H&M have them and the all in ones.

Sorry I can't link, no idea how to on iPod!

TheBigJessie · 23/09/2012 19:18

I'm now messing around looking for finkids on ebay.de. There is some stuff!

You'll have to check whether sellers accept paypal though. I got badly burned after committing to buy something internationally. Banks can charge the earth for international bank transfers.

Binfullofmaggotsonthe45 · 23/09/2012 19:44

You can get really cheap waterproof trousers from Hennes?

MrDobalina · 23/09/2012 20:16

thanks guys..yeah, i know i can get waterproof trousers elsewhere, but...have you seen the Finkid stuff???? Its lush, and good quality scandanavian outdoor gear

good tip about looking on ebay.de jessie thanks! There is loads! its twice the price it was on zulily, but I have convinced myself we need a jacket at least Grin

i can justify it (i think) we travel by bicycle alot and dd2 has a birthday coming up...and, and, and Grin

Good luck! I warn you though, avoid my mistakes!

Work out your maximum price in pounds and stick it in a currency converter. Then lop some off, to account for currency conversion fee on paypal! And some more for international postage. It is really easy to get into a bidding war in Euros.

Check amazon.de as well. Could be cheaper.

CaliforniaLeaving · 23/09/2012 22:21

Oh I like the look of their stuff on the link. Sort of looks like www.hannaandersson.com they do international shipping and I think $-£ is a pretty good exchange. I was bidding on a flowery winter coat for Dd on eBay this morning. I've bought a lot of stripy flowery Scandinavian type clothes for Dd over the years it looks so cute on.

MrDobalina · 23/09/2012 22:55

oh i like that too california

have a look at Polarn O Pyret

OhlimpPricks · 23/09/2012 23:03

wet weather gear Lidls are having a wet weather gear sale, starting tomorrow, kids waterproof trousers £5.99 I'd hurry though, they normally disappear in a couple of days.

MrDobalina · 23/09/2012 23:09

MrDobalina
yes it's in US$ We have lots of their stuff, it washes well and is soooo soft.
I like that Polarn a pret link, very nice stuff.
We are going to need the Scandie stuff for warmth moving from the heat here to the cold in UK
