Yep along with those that buy music instruments to "help their creativity" Grin

MrsGeologist · 20/09/2012 12:25

Yes. They totally and utterly despise you if they buy your child a Dora the Explorer DVD.

wonkylegs · 20/09/2012 12:27

My in laws bought Tractor Tom for DS so I have helpfully stored it at their house Grin

Sokmonsta · 20/09/2012 12:39

I thought the whole point of friends buying parents was to get the most noisy and irritating thing possible? Grin

This is why I bought the hugely irritiating fifi and the flower tots moving musical TV for my friend's little girl. She retaliated by buying my son a tractor which sings (at one volume) 'Old MacDonald' (I don't actually find it that bad, she thought it might annoy me).

Keep and eye out for noisy and irritating when it's your turn.

artifarti · 20/09/2012 12:39

YANBU. My in-laws live in the West Country and I think we now have all the DVDs available. I can often be found bouncing a baby whilst singing, "Little wild boar on the forest floor; he thinks he's a pig but he's really not that big". Although I have spent many an entertaining hour trying to work out what the rude slogan is on the combine harvester man's t-shirt that they have blurred out...

I'd rather have Tractor Tom the basterding Team fucking Umizoomi!

chocolateistheenemy · 20/09/2012 12:49

Tractorland what a fun place to be. Lots to do and so much to see.

No. It's shit.

WingDefence · 20/09/2012 12:50

My DS loves Tractor Ted! He's 3.9 now and has had the DVDs for probably two years.

He's not as addicted to them as he once was but I think they're great - educational and real life to boot :)

You can leave the room when the songs come on Grin

VinegarTits · 20/09/2012 12:55

if they buy your child a Barney dvd, you know they are hoping you will die a slow and painful death

PiedWagtail · 20/09/2012 12:59

DeWe · 20/09/2012 13:35
