AIBU to just spend day in the house?

I have DD who is 13months. Usually on a Tuesday we go to music group but she felt quite ill yesterday so decided not to take her today. Is it okay just to spend day in the house? Or will she get bored?? I just don't feel up for doing much today

I would, if I could! Go for it!
My week from hell is almost over!
Just enjoying a lovely hot cup of tea in an empty house, the peace and quiet is making my day!

Are you kidding? So for 13 months you have gone out every single day with your daughter?! Wow my DS must be very underprivelidged. YADNBU to stay in once in a while. Its great you should try it. Especially if little one is a bit under the weather.

Absolutely fine! I would have a cosy duvet day with lots of snuggles and just relax with her.

newmummytobe79 · 20/09/2012 09:48

YANBU - stay in!

Enjoy a day with just you and DD - and don't answer the phone or door! It's more than ok to have you and baby time :)

Anniegetyourgun · 20/09/2012 09:49

Well, if you've got nothing at all to do or play with in the house, YABU. Otherwise, why the hell shouldn't you? 13 month olds aren't that challenging to entertain.

Oh wait - 13 months - music group? Have I just walked into one of those?

cheekypickle · 20/09/2012 09:49

I work part time mon, tues and weds when she's at childminders.

On Thursdays I take her to a music group

On Fridays I take her to a gym class and then swimming in the afternoons

Just guess I like to keep busy with her!

You should know by now that it is fine...given the amount of times you ask this question OP.

Everyone likes a chilled out day - even babies.

Hope she's better soon.

What do you mean anniegetyourgun?

Hi cheeky, YADNBU. If it feels right, do it.

Fakebook · 20/09/2012 09:56

I knew this would be you geeky. Just stay at home and sing with her alone. She'll enjoy it just as much.
