I've got a nice friend I love going to see. She is a SAHM and has her kids on a really late schedule so she can sleep in and get extra time off in the evening when her husband is home. Fair enough, except she only wants us to meet 1) at her place, an hour away from me and 2) after 5PM. I work full-time, DD goes to nursery and is tired at 5PM during the week, we always end up having to leave more or less as soon as we've got to my friend's. Weekends are no good because my friend's husband is at home - she wants to meet up during the week to occupy the time she's on her own with the children.
WIBU to ask her to at least come out to our neck of the woods because then we wouldn't have to factor in the hour's travel and could hang out for longer? She does have two kids to my one so I suppose it is harder for her to travel.
