....and say in the same breath that Kate shouldnt have got her tits out!

She thought she was in private as she was a mile from the nearest road, they used super dooper telephoto lenses and then made a huge meal out of printing the pictures. I think it is right to insist on charges being brought because it will hopefully put anyone off doing it again although I wonder if it is late revenge on the paps that in many peoples opinion, contributed to the death of Princess Diana (I reserve judgement on that as no one really knows what happened).

I am just annoyed that I have just had a chat with someone saying that yes, they deserve to be arrested and charged etc but implies that really it was her own fault. Pick one side of the fence FFS!

I should add that I am anti monarchy, so I am not being all kiss ass cos she is "Our Princess" Wink

I am out-talked on this from the other thread. I will say that the drunk/impaired driver and the lack of seat-belts probably did more to endanger Diana than the press.

I think they should go after the pap for being a stalking pervert and they should go after the magazine. I am surprised though that she went topless and it never occurred to her that this might happen. Also wonder if on a largish estate there were staff or others around who would have been able to witness or take pics. She just seems to have been a little niave, not a crime of course and their privacy should have been respected.

SOrry, didnt see the other thread, I am just annoyed at trying to take both sides of an argument to prove someone else wrong. Makes no sense!

And I agree that the drunk driver and lack of seat belts were the biggest issue but then if they hadnt been chased, would it have ended in an accident? Thats why I dont have an opinion because, as I said, we dont know the full facts.

I don't think it's illogical. If I walk across the zebra crossing then I have the right of way. If some bastards speeds right through and knocks me over then they are to blame and should get locked up. However, given that occasional dangerous drivers are a fact of life, I always stop look and listen before stepping out onto the road, and it would be foolish not to.

The papps were vile and should have the book thrown at them, but given that vile papps are a fact of her life Kate was perhaps foolish to take her kit off except in a locked room with no windows that's been swept for bugs Sad. However I agree that loads some of the judginess goes too far into sanctimonious "behaviour unbecoming in a future queen" bullshit it.
