To state the team rules of the MN blackberrylympics

To be in medal contention:

1. Event open to teams comprising doubles pairs of adults or multiples thereof.

1. No children because:

• They eat them
• Fall in nettles/brambles and need attention
• Get bored

1. Teams must split up to scour best patches.

1. No-one from opposing teams allowed on these patches at same time.

1. If, however, one partner finds a patch too full for him/her to pick alone, he/she is then allowed to call other members of team over.

1. Event must result in crumble or tart. Blackberry jelly will result in exclusion from this and future events.

Hmm, the rule covering the use of rakes has been left out.

Is there a rule to prevent me pillaging the huge patch next to our neighbours' garage that they seem to be ignoring.(Probably in the middle of the night with the aid of a head torch to reduce chances of detection)
