I think I have a bit of a girl zombie crush on you

MNhoneydragonHQ · 16/09/2012 19:47

I can categorically state that Zombie does not look remotely close to 60 years old Envy

She might have got the crappy cancer genes but she also got the youthful ones too.

IamtheZombie · 16/09/2012 19:52

You should see the picture in Zombie's attic, HoneyDragon.

FancyPuffin · 16/09/2012 19:54

I puffs Zombie and her posting style always makes me smile, it helps that I read it in my head in the style of the Cookie Monster Grin

AuntAlexandra · 16/09/2012 19:59

Respect to you, Zombie. I always enjoy your posts.

out2lunch · 16/09/2012 20:01

MNhoneydragonHQ · 16/09/2012 20:03

The painting should be in the Nursey! Grin

IamtheZombie · 16/09/2012 20:06

It would scare the children if it was displayed in the nursery.

Won't someone think of the children?

jammydodger1 · 16/09/2012 20:07

Another Zombie appreciator here. Thanks

SchrodingersMew · 16/09/2012 20:25

This thread has brought a tear to my eye. Thanks

I actually only noticed you on that gift card thread I called Zombie on, you gave me a wee laugh popping up next on that. :)

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/09/2012 20:30

Thanks zombie. I'll send him over in the morning.

slatternlymother · 16/09/2012 20:38

zombie did you ever teach? Just out of interest.

Moominsarescary · 16/09/2012 20:39

If you saw ds1s bedroom you'd think he was already living in a dustbin

IamtheZombie · 16/09/2012 20:42

Puffin, Zombie thought it was deliberate given your nickname. Grin

slatternly, not a proper teacher, no. But Zombie spent the last 10 / 12 years of her working life developing and presenting specialist training courses. DZH is the teacher in the family.

slatternlymother · 16/09/2012 20:45

Ah. I see. I looked at your profile pic and got the shock of my life when I saw my primary teacher grinning back at me Grin is that your garden, btw?

OP posts:
slatternlymother · 16/09/2012 20:45

^just realises I have outed my own age Blush

OP posts:
IamtheZombie · 16/09/2012 20:49

All you've revealed about your age is that you're way younger than Zombie. Envy

Yes, the photos were taken in our garden.

Would I be too late to the party if I said that I, too, think Zombie rocks, and I really enjoy her posts?

I decided long ago that, as I am an - ahem - somewhat larger lady, in the event of the zombie apocalypse, I will sacrifice myself so my dses and dh can escape. It will take the zombies ages to eat me, plus I am very high in saturated fat, so will be very bad for their coronary arteries.

slatternlymother · 16/09/2012 20:57

YY your garden is beautiful zombie

Thanks, slatternly.

CouthyMowWearingOrange · 16/09/2012 21:23

I luffs Zombie. Hasn't been bitten, oh no.

Hearing your backstory (which I didn't know) makes me all the more appreciative of modern medicine.

It has kept Zombie in the land of the undead, and has also kept my Nan alive too.

I think Herceptin and Avawhotsit should be packed in everyone's OFRS just in case. The side effects aren't nice - except the side effect of being alive, of course!

CouthyMow is uncharacteristically silenced by Zombie's strength, and wishes her well. Though I may offer an arm as a light snack. My brain probably tastes too funny to eat, given my epilepsy and the heavy duty meds acting on it, so a limb is all I can offer!

dearprudence · 16/09/2012 21:37

Wow, zombie. Thank you for sharing your backstory. I'm a bit in awe of you now.
