It's polite to pick the arm up and hand it back.

Wow. I knew a little bit about your story and knew you had a long running support thread going in the little corner but I didn't know any details.

You are indeed very brave to have endured what you have and still retain a sense of humour and such a strong sense of self.

I'm so sorry for your losses and wish you well in your continued recovery.

Thanks

Grin @ tee

I'm going to watch the last bit of the Walking Dead season 2 tonight. This will inspire me.

I reckon it was my surgeon in the operating theatre with her scalpel.

It wasn`t me !!!!!!!!!!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 16/09/2012 16:04

I didn't know your story, but you come across as very good humoured and calm and nice. I notice your posts and the third-person thing makes me read them a bit more slowly, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It's nice to feel I know you a little bit more. Smile

Good luck for your recovery.

ExitPursuedByABear · 16/09/2012 17:41

Sorry to hear about your godson Z. Not been on your thread for a while.

MsVestibule · 16/09/2012 17:43

After reading this, your posting style may irritate me a little less Wink.

FarloWearsAGoldRibbon · 16/09/2012 17:51

Sorry to hear the real world has been treating you so appallingly and really sorry about your godson.

Incidentally I sometimes pretend to be a zombie and chase DD up to bed when she doesn't want to go. Please don't tell SS, she thinks it's hilarious!

Zombie - I always had you as a 30ish year-old slight goth.

Wow.

You have to promise me though when the shit does go down you will eat my DCs when I lob them at you & let me escape (I know, I know, but the children NEVER get away - it's just pragmatism).

MeanAndMeaslyMiddleAges · 16/09/2012 19:03

I am another Zombie lover. Zombie's posts always make me smile.

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 16/09/2012 19:08

Oh zombie Thanks

I think you are ace. Very friendly and warm with a unique posting style.

So sorry you've had some really tough times recently. Wishing you all the best for the future xx

slatternlymother · 16/09/2012 19:25

lastnight it's true. DS is zombie food if the shit goes down. I have told him this, and he has agreed. He's the weakest. And being 1 year old, is terrible at running. So... You know.

Zombie is sworn to protect Mumsnet in the event of a zombie apocolypse.

She couldn't possible eat a child (well, not a whole one anyway) but we do have a lovely creche in the Dustbin? where you will be welcome to leave your DCs until they grow up into reasonable human beings until it is safe to take them home again.

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/09/2012 19:42

Do you take teens in the Dustbin? I've got one you can have until he grows up. another bad teen day here

IamtheZombie · 16/09/2012 19:45

Zombie thinks back to when she was a teenager. (It was a long time ago so may take a while.)

Yep. She thinks a Dustbin? would be a natural habitat for a teenager.

DZH · 16/09/2012 19:45

DNA and Slatternly

That is awful, think of those unemployed teachers down the years !!!!

Don`t you have any elderly relatives with mobility issues that could be sacrificed ?? and think of the savings on care home fees
