I think there would be. It would open up the ff v bf debate on a national level. It gives me a headache even thinking about it.

blueraincoat · 14/09/2012 11:27

Yes because the media are still using a long lens camera to take pictures of her on private land. To me that is the biggest issue here...

SloeFarSloeGood · 14/09/2012 11:32

I so hope she does breastfeed in public. Apparently the queen breastfeed her children.

Chubfuddler · 14/09/2012 11:33

If she bfing in public possibly not. Otherwise yes and quite rightly.

SheelaNeGoldGig · 14/09/2012 11:37

I'm going to knit and send her one of those baby hats whick look like a big boob. That'd look good in Le Closer.

It would be extremely weird given she doesn't have a baby! Grin

I do think it would be slightly different, though the basic thing of taking a picture of her long lens on private land would be equally intrusive.

The thing is, she's getting lots of comments from this that are predictably horrible about her 'getting her tits out' or 'showing off her boobs' as a sex thing. Whereas if she were breastfeeding, it's not sexual and I think she'd have more support from people saying she was simply performing a natural maternal function.

It shouldn't be that way, that it'd feel different, but I think it is.

Don't the Royals have wet nurses? :)
