She is such a beautiful woman, but she looks old and drawn since she got "hollywood skinny". She looked so much better when she had a little more weight on her, not much, still slim, but not super skinny.

Her eyes and cheeks are sunken, her teeth and eyes looks too big for her head and her neck is quite scrawny. Just put half a stone on love!

And where on earth does she look too thin and unhealthy???

Maybe a case of Envy rather.

'Seeing pictures of thin people does not cause anorexia, no, but it does contribute to the body dissatisfaction that leads to the beginning of calorie restriction that in some people leads on to anorexia or disordered eating.'

That's like saying, you can't ever have a drink in front of your children (or someone else's children) because they might start to drink too much and then become an alcoholic.

Sorry Mintyy. I normally agree with you on all sorts of things but not this. I've been anorexic, severely, nearly died etc.

It wasn't ever about being thin. That was just what people thought, because I was - and for some people it's a convenient tool to use in the context of their struggle, but that doesn't mean that anyone in the public eye, or not, has a responsibility to anyone else to be a 'standard' or 'normal' weight.

I really don't think that's justified at all. Bogey, most people have very little control over their own weight. How would you feel if someone told you you had to be a certain weight, or within that range, to show up at the school gate - or to have children?

It's not something you can really help, is it? Nor should you have to.

And she isn't famous because she is thin - or trying to be. She's an actress, and she happens to be thin. Should she - as someone else said - not be allowed to act?
