Are they being unreasonable to discontinue the AMAZING 24 Hour Work Home Diary?

Collins - I mean.
They quite clearly are.

The 2012 edition completely transformed my life. It's all going to bloomin' fall apart in 2013 now isn't it!

Sobs...

Just put everything in your phone - then you get reminders

MrsMellowDrummer · 13/09/2012 19:13

Ah but I've tried that Dibbler. The problem is, I find it way too easy to ignore my phone.

The lovely Collins 24Hr-er sits with authority on my kitchen work top, telling me nicely what to do all through the day. I've been completely organised this year for the first time ever, with daily to do lists for everything.

I am actually beginning to panic a little bit now...
Does anybody have a good alternative? And pleased don't say Organised Mum...

Try One of These Instead

Lucie99 · 13/09/2012 19:20

Whoops didn't read the very last sentence you wrote Confused

MrsMellowDrummer · 13/09/2012 19:25

No worries Lucie - it's only because I've looked at them already, and it's not really quite what I need. Thanks for the suggestion! Smile

I've just been browsing the web, and have discovered a shop in Australia that seems to be stocking them... Would it be too extreme to get them to ship one over to me? Looks like a staples type place - they'd think I was completely bonkers wouldn't they?

Have you looked for online calendars that you can print out for free? I organise myself and the workplace with all sorts of organisers that you get for free, and you can print out as many as you like.

Gentleness · 13/09/2012 19:31

I'm really impressed with one from organise-us. I got it because I couldn't find the collins one.

You can create this one using Excel

Free 24 hour planner.

Any good for you?

MrsMellowDrummer · 13/09/2012 19:44

Thank you Gerkins!
Maybe I could make my own - the excel link looks good.

What I liked about the Collins one is that each day has space for 3 to-do lists (work, family, personal), as well as extra spaces for other useful things, AND a diary. There's a lovely - "unexpected tasks achieved" section, which I get very excited about when I manage to fill in! And monthly pages for financial planning, and longer term to do lists. I'm wondering if I could maybe create my own version? And bind it somehow so it looks lovely enough...

Or I may just move to Oz, where it seems Collins are sensible enough to still be stocking them.

What about women's success choice (ship from US but not hideously expensive) or quo vadis tri note (about 13) I love the tri note because there's plenty space for everything. I couldn't afford the Collins last year so got the tri note and I love it

DorothyGherkins · 13/09/2012 19:46

Since I discovered you could print your own, the only calendars I ever buy now are for friends and relatives overseas. I print my own personal ones, one for clubs I do the admin for, and wall calendars for work - if you dont like the ones I flagged up for you, just google, there are a wealth of free stuff to print, I m sure you could find one that suits your needs!

MrsMellowDrummer · 13/09/2012 20:14

Ooh, thanks Wolfcub - just had a quick look, and both of them look good. I'm going to browse a bit more once the kids are in bed.

I'll investigate the print your own option too Gherkins - I reckon that might be my best bet actually!

Unfussy but practical

I've just looked at the Trinote and Women's ones and they're quite big compared with what I was thinking. I've even thought of making my own on Lulu.
