where their furniture could be assembled by staff for an extra fee.

If this sevice was available I guess it may be cheaper than hiring a handyman.

I have thrown the damn bookcase in the skip today, as my D.I.Y. sklls are shit, will not improve.

They do in Holland...check online. It costs tonnes though, a base rate and a percentage of the cost of the object.

I know here you can get handymen to do it, they always have ads on the DIY and tradesmen sites.
