DC2 is over 6 months old, DC1 is 5 years. Recently (last month) I forced myself to get close to DH, just by kissing and cuddling in bed. Sex wasn't on my list of priorities, and although we had sex a few times after DC2 was about 3 months, it was painful and unfulfilling. I just didn't enjoy myself. DH has always been a quick finisher (10 mins max), which also made me resentful and not enjoy sex on a whole.
I don't know what happened but after forcing myself to get on with it, it's like I have opened up all this sexual energy, and it's not just me that's changed. Since last month DH is lasting for upto 40mins - 1hr pleasing me with mind blowing sex. Things we have never tried before, positions, talking...It's completely different to how it used to be. Sometimes I find myself thinking about DH during the day, which NEVER happened after DC1.
As a couple, we do have occasional fights and have some trivial on-going problems but once we're in bed, it's like we can't resist each other.
I'm not complaining or boasting! Just want to try to understand what has changed in our lives and whether this has happened to anyone else. Do men find their wives/partners more irresistible after a second child?
