We moved to a small cottage from a big victorian conversion and so we have huge furniture bought to fit the last house. Our settee now has holes in it anyway so i reckon it needs replaced anyway. Dh thinks its ridiculous to buy a new couch/table/sideboard just because the ones we have are a bit big/have a few holes because he is a tight arse thinks the kids just ruin stuff anyway.

AIBU wanting to buy lounge furniture to make our lounge less crowded?

if ye can afford it why not or at the least wait til kids a bit older so as not to ruin the new furniture.

I am replacing most of mine. If you can afford itwhy not.
It's just redecorating isn't it?

If you can afford it do it, lots of big furniture in a small room isn't a great look.
