I'm torn, I really don't know whether to complain or not...

Their driver pulled across the A66 yesterday across the path of my car. Cue my standing on the brakes and lots of rubber left on the tarmac. I was a whisker away from going into him and luckily the road behind me was clear otherwise my baby daughter could have been hurt too.

Other cars were waiting to cross at the junction, judging it unsafe, but this driver just charged across the carriageway..

I know the junction and the exact time. I want to complain, wanting to know what training they give their drivers and whether their schedules are designed so they don't have to drive like this in order to meet their slots.

But is it pointless? Probably yes, but will it make me feel better? Again, probably yes!

No, I'd say it's not pointless, and they should be able to identify the driver based on location and time. If they're a decent company they'll thank you for this and do something about it.

I have reported two separate drivers in the past - one for the most awful dangerous driving and one for giving me abuse when I asked him to pull his van forward about six feet, for about two seconds,so that I could access my driveway. In both cases they thanked me for it, because these people are representing their company, particularly when they are driving vehicles with logos - I hope they both got some much needed training.
