They charge for everything, surprised they don't have coin operated toilets on their planes yet!!

I guess their argument is that they are a budget airline and if they don't charge for things they have to put prices of flights up, though that doesn't make it right!

You don't have to, it's optional. If you don't want to pay for it you have the option of using the free website. I don't think there's anything wrong with charging for it, you are being charged for the convenience of an app. It woudo be wrong if that was only way you could buy the product/service, but it's not.

I can see the argument for paid-for games where you can then buy further levels/accessories in the game. Although I rarely buy those myself - the exception being the lovely retro ladybird books app where you can build up your library.

But this? They're a parody of themselves! I wouldn't fly with them anyway, I'd be too stressed by the whole thing.

I get more outraged by the apps that say they are free, so you think you are getting something good for nothing, bit then you have to pay to have anything other than an empty useless app.
