Please note that I was nothing but polite... But I don't think I would have been unreasonable to swear profusely!
Next door neighbours rent their house (they are lovely!) and landlord has been doing some maintenance while they are out (they do know about this!)
Today is a lovely sunny day, but quite windy and blustery - a "good drying day".
So, landlord decides that he will SPRAY paint the joint boundary fence on his side
- and I now have pebble dashed washing (three loads hanging out, although it's only the outer ring on the rotary airer that's been hit) and a speckled car!
To be fair, he came and apologised, but managed to wake DS from his nap,, and then had to ask for water to wash the car as next door are out and he needed hot soapy water. I meanwhile have got to rewash washing that was virtually dry (been out since 10am!)
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
As I say, I was polite and neighbourly and terribly British about the whole incident, but I so wanted to rage and swear!
