we are walking round in jeans and jumpers but still cold

it's my house so I can do what I like but still feel guilty about having the heating on -it's august bank hol ffs!

I've waited 5 weeks of the school hols to get a week off with the kids and it's depressing!

Yanbu. We bloody stayed in yesterday as well ( when the sun was shining ) dp is now crowing because he'd tried to drag us out

Yanbu. I put mine on. woke up to a dd with ice cold hands poor poppet.

I too am feeling a bit chilly and putting off getting in the shower.

Chin up, we are meant to be in for a warm and sunny September.

Apocalypse, I am remembering the winter when nobody had power or heat and you were sweltering, even turning the heaters down.
That is when you got the cheese toastie name.

I'm drying clothes to justify it.

I live in the bottom right hand corner of the country. The only bit on the weather forecast last night, which didn't show rain!

I'm sitting in vest top and shorts and have just hung some washing on the line, so from my POV, yabu!

Hee hee, I'm not one for feeling the cold gentleotter. Last winter was ridiculously warm tho, I'm hoping for a nice cold one this year

Heating was on for an hour, we're all in jumpers and I'm trying to resist bunging it on again.

Bloody weather

YANBU. Although I was wearing a thermal, a fleece, lounge pants, socks and sheepskin booties I was still cold and put the heating on for an hour. My cottage is cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and is the sort of place where even during the hottest days I get cold sat around in just a t-shirt and shorts. It's crazy but, in the summer, if I've been out in the garden I have to put more clothes on when I come in!
