To be beyond excited that my PFB will be home soon from her first overnighter at Nanas?

I have missed her Sad

Nannas wanted her overnight, and said no less than 24 hours would suffice, so we dutifully dropped her off at 4pm yesterday, and I am so so excited to see her again soon.

I need to get a grip dont I Grin

Te best thing about leaving them is the smiles and excitement of the reunion Grin

GnocchiNineDoors · 26/08/2012 15:57

Yes, I am dying to see her little face when she gets back Grin

She has stayed at my DMums twice, who lives a couple of doors down, and for us to have a night out - I knock them at 8am to get her back - it's the loooooonnngggg time I have to wait!?!?

Ah mines 6month old so and it's so lush, I just love getting her back for squidgy hugs and kisses and spoiling her rotten Grin

Enjoy!

Ahhh YANBU. My DH has taken DS1 out for the day to see some planes whilst I've been cooking puddings and looking after DS2, I'm really looking forward to when he gets home, after moaning that I need him to go to pre school or something to give me a break! Stupid double standards!

We got him all excited and he said 'bye mummy' not even bothered, he had his little backpack all ready and off to see family and a lot of planes. He's 2.1!

I remember those days. Enjoy your own time.

GnocchiNineDoors · 26/08/2012 18:00

She is home!

We answered the door and she started shouting "hiya" and clapping Grin

Daddy is now giving her her bedtime bottle and singing "Big River" by Jimmy Nail haha such taste.

The heart melts.

Mine are 10 and 5 and stayed at my mum's last night... I was still slightly bereft! I even went in and closed the curtains in their room and opened them again this morning Blush

It lovely getting a break, and its lovely to get them back. Except for when they are stroppy - then they can go live in the shed Grin.
