To let me and my little girl stay at home in our pyjamas all day?

We've had a really busy week and I'm shattered- so I know she must be!

We stayed in all day yesterday and had a lovely time playing indoors.
The weather is better today and I feel like we should go to the park or something but I just can't be bothered Blush

I know she won't care if we have another day indoors painting and singing and playing, etc, so why do I feel so guilty?

Well, don't feel guilty. If you both have fun, that's great. It also recharges batteries.

Fresh air is always good though. Maybe tomorrow?

Your dd is lucky to have a mother who likes spending so much fun time with her. Enjoy it.

Personally, I feel very much better to get myself and the DC washed and dressed and out, if only for 30 mins. If we stay inside and don't get dressed, we end up feeling less and less inclined to do anything.

We are having a pyjama day but have still played in the garden :-)

MissPricklePants · 26/08/2012 12:42

An occasional pj day is nice, although I don't feel like doing anything if I don't get up and dressed. Have a pj day tomorrow and enjoy!!

Painting and singing all day sounds lovely - I am rubbish at all that kind of stuff so DD and I tend to hit the streets at 10am rain or shine!

If you think you won't be going insane by 3pm then go for it!

Thumbwitch · 26/08/2012 12:42

Do you have a garden? You could pop out there for a bit if you're really feeling guilty about it but otherwise, don't worry - the rest will probably do her (and you!) good. :)

crackcrackcrak · 26/08/2012 12:45

I can't play with dd of I stay in - I just do housework and boring stuff. I have to get us out of the house and away from toil to spend proper time with her. Nowt wrong with stating in mind.

HappySunflower · 26/08/2012 12:47

We are definitely going out tomorrow- in fact, we have going out plans for the next 4 days.

She's asleep at the moment, maybe we'll play in the garden in our pyjamas after lunch!

Yanbu. Sounds lovely.

Sounds lovely! Can my daughter and I come round? We love a bit of singy, dancy, jarmie painting.

HappySunflower · 26/08/2012 14:46

If you're local, then yes Kitty!
I've made a cake, we've been dancing round the room to 80's music and it's so nice not to have to be anywhere or do anything. Quite rare for us so I'm glad I made the most of it! :)

Rats! I missed the invitation! Next time, eh? What was your cake like? Sounds like a lovely day. Glad you enjoyed it.

We've had a mad busy holiday so today we stayed in and it was lovely, ds went on the trampoline and kicked a ball around but all very low key.
