Day from hell with my DD while we were out.. Tantrums, laying down on the floor refusing to move and screaming while all other shoppers stared at us, broke something in a shop which I had to pay for, come home cats have been sick over my bed and DD just did a poo in her pants then ran away from me with knickers round her ankles and poo went all over the carpet. I know its early but I'm thinking of putting a film on for her and having a large glass of wine (just the one!).

If everyone said YABU - don't have one would you listen? Grin

Debeez · 25/08/2012 14:20

Do it.

greenhill · 25/08/2012 14:20

After that experience I think the glass of wine is obligatory. Wine bottoms up, not the DC of course!

KellyElly · 25/08/2012 14:22

If everyone said then maybe but if 50 people said yes and one said no then I'd have selective hearing Grin

Wine Yes, have a large one.

Your day might not get any better - but you will care less Grin

KellyElly · 25/08/2012 14:23

That's enough positive responses for me. Madagascar for her and wine for me :)

Lots of people have a glass of wine with lunch, this is no different. I would if I had some in the house!

Asamumnonsense · 25/08/2012 14:29

Oh no! poor you.. if that's going to make you feel better..DO IT!! I like to have mine in the evening when everyone is asleep..Smile and I know I keep pouring..

PorkyandBess · 25/08/2012 14:32

We have had 2, over a late lunch!

Downside is that I am contemplating a snooze now..

KellyElly · 25/08/2012 14:33

Asa I may have had a mini breakdown if I wait til then Grin. I am enjoying a glass now and DD is engrossed in her film and the cats are on the naughty step so peace for a while :)
